Intro to Dehydrating for the Trail Webinar
Taking place on
Wednesday, November 20 at 7 pm, Hike Nova Scotia’s Intro to Dehydrating for the Trail webinar will teach you the art (and science) of dehydrating food for the trail!
Ready to elevate your trail meals, lighten your pack and save a ton of money? Discover how to create lightweight, home cooked meals that are packed with nutrients – perfect for fuelling your adventures. We’ll dive into different types of dehydrators, explore ideal settings, times and temperatures for various foods, discuss the difference between dehydrating and freeze drying and share insider tips to ensure perfect results every time. Plus, you’ll master the rehydration process, so your meals taste just as good on the trail as they did at home.
Don’t miss this opportunity to take your trail food, and your adventures, to the next level! Do you have specific questions you would like answered during the workshop? Feel free to email your questions ahead of time to Deb at info@journey2wellness.ca with the subject “Dehydrating Workshop.”
